Joe Carley develops partnerships with regional and state organizations to support rural prosperity in Indiana. He works closely with state agencies, as well as regional organizations such as Crane, the Indiana Innovation Institute (IN3), Regional Opportunity Initiatives, and Radius Indiana. He also serves as director for economic development at IU. He is currently serving as the Interim CEO of the Uplands Science and Technology Foundation, a nonprofit research foundation focused on the development of WestGate Technology Park.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in public administration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a focus on economic planning, and a law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
