A collection of short films made by local filmmakers will be screened at 6:30 p.m. followed by our feature film at 7 p.m. These shorts were produced for the Instant Gratification Movie Challenge.
In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, CIA agents began using extreme interrogation tactics on those they thought were behind it. Daniel Jones, lead investigator for the US Senate’s sweeping study into the CIA’s Detention and Interrogation Program, found the program to be brutal, immoral and ineffective. With the truth at stake, Jones battled tirelessly to make public what many in power sought to keep hidden.
