This is a great space for partners to ask questions and share project updates. We'll post reminders, resources, and grant opportunities throughout the cycle, so be sure to join the conversation.
Join us at the 2025 IU Rural Conference!
On Monday, May 12, from 10:15–11:15 a.m., we'll hold a meet and greet for Rural Placemaking Studio participants, and on Tuesday, May 13, there will be a full day of inspiring talks and workshops focused on placemaking.
There is no cost to attend the meet and greet, though full participation in the conference is encouraged, and scholarships are available to help cover costs.
Draft designs will be circulated to community partners via email. Partners will be responsible for collecting feedback from stakeholders within one week of receiving the draft.
Two drafts will be shared for revisions before partners receive the final design by early August.
Design teams will submit their final designs, with one final round of revisions by the end of July. Community partners will receive all deliverables before the Community Design Showcase in late August.
