Addressing Racial Disparities in Health with Indiana Department of Health
This collaborative, community-directed project aimed to reduce racial disparities in health in Dubois County. Project partner ALASI hosted community-led educational workshops and deploying a comprehensive and locally adapted communications and outreach plan to increase awareness of COVID-19 resources and critical public health information. This effort was funded by a grant from the I-HOPE initiative, a collaboration between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Indiana Department of Health, Purdue University, Indiana University, and dozens of other organizations across the state.
