Did You Know? Social Media Campaign for Owen County

A group of committed Owen County citizens met to explore the following framing questions using the Strategic Doing process: “Imagine if everyone who cared about Owen County participated in making the county a wonderful place for our kids and grandkids to live. What would that look like?” The group decided to focus on engaging Owen County youth and identifying future leaders. This led to a campaign that highlighted local teens and young adults sharing fun facts about Owen County through a series of videos on social media. The group received a grant from the Owen County Community Foundation to purchase t-shirts as prizes for a contest related to the campaign. The youth group worked with other organizations in the community to create video clips.
