Discovery Café

Discovery Café is an Indiana University Center for Rural Engagement initiative in partnership with public libraries throughout Indiana. The Center for Rural Engagement facilitates connections with public libraries. Through our partnership, we strive to serve librarians in helping their communities discover resources and enriching learning opportunities, and in implementing other valuable services for Hoosiers. This initiative facilitates connections with libraries to provide presentations and programming across diverse topics through in-person and virtual formats. Indiana University expertise and resources from CRE, School of Social Work, Jacobs School of Music, Kelley School of Business, Hamilton Luger School, and IU Corps are available to public libraries throughout southwest central Indiana counties: Johnson, Morgan, Owen, Greene, Monroe, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, Martin, Daviess, Pike, Dubois, Orange, Washington, and Crawford.
