Diversity Council

The City of Bedford wanted to assess the need for a diversity council by conducting research on residents' understanding of the values of a diverse community as well as residents' perception of the diversity of the Bedford community. MSCH R 428 Public Relations Research and Planning course conducted a situation analysis by looking at internal and external factors that affect the issue of diversity in the City of Bedford through secondary research by reviewing existing available information on this issue. Students engaged in primary research by conducting interviews and online surveys to assess the residents' attitudes, views, and expectations in regard to wanting a diverse community.
