Emerging Bilingualism in Elementary-Level Exposure-Track Spanish

Through collaboration with local administrators, teachers, and parents, this project supported Monroe County Community School Corporation and Dubois County school districts by creating research-grounded, task-based Spanish lessons that were customized for the unique needs of each community. The project identified linguistic and non-linguistic goals for the K-6 L2 exposure-track Spanish, designed L2 Spanish task cycles motivated by these goals, and built in measures to see how students progress in their goals.
