Jacobs School of Music Community Engagement Initiative

The Jacobs School of Music Community Engagement Initiative created opportunities for music faculty, student organizations, and ensembles to develop collaborative relationships with community partners in southern Indiana through planning and providing music performances and learning opportunities in rural communities. The initiative resulted in a robust set of resources for faculty and students that includes a systematic and coherent program for project development, implementation, assessment, and reflection and allows users to connect with communities in meaningful, appropriate, and valuable ways.
