Morgantown Park and Recreation System Master Plan

This project was designed to build Morgantown’s (Morgan County) capacity in managing park areas for quality of life, healthy people, and long-term stewardship. Investments in parks, recreation, and public spaces have been demonstrated to significantly impact the quality of life, health indicators, and economic development in communities. Completion of this park and recreation system master plan enables Morgantown to be eligible for State of Indiana park and trail-related grant funding, to engage with local communities and points of interest to enhance quality of place and economic development, and to continue to add to the vibrancy of this southern Indiana community.
