WPLC Telehealth
The IU School of Nursing, IU Health, and local faith-based communities improved access to healthcare by providing rural health screenings, using in-person and telehealth technology. Nursing students administered chronic disease health screenings at a local faith-based organization. The appointments were attended remotely by nursing faculty and, if desired, the patient's primary care provider and/or nurse, creating a safe, comfortable, and private healthcare experience in a trusted location.
