Health, Resilience, Quality of Place: Developing tools for deeper engagement with quality information in Indiana

Project abstract

Independent publishers in Indiana struggle with engagement. Communities in Indiana struggle to find the quality information they need to live their lives. The threat of disengaged communities, media desertification, and the potential for misinformation to spread in the absence of accessible quality information is getting worse. This collaborative project brings researcher-developers from Kinzen, a Dublin-based media innovation lab, to Indiana, where they will seek to address the problem of audience engagement through interviews and focus groups, create prototypes and products, measure the project's impact on engagement, and generate and deliver a product that deepens engagement between communities and local publishers.
